Abstract: "The employment situation of older employees has been developed positively over the last years. The rise in the employment rate of older individuals goes along with an increase in the provision of age-specific measures of personnel policy. Since 2006 we have observed an increase of activities which contribute to the enhancement of individual employability. However, partial retirement schemes - rather an instrument of outsourcing - have decreased. Even though firms' activities towards elders like further training or health promotion have gained in importance, they are still on a comparably low level." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
