Abstract: "This policy paper investigates whether agency employment can be a bridge into regular employment for unemployed immigrants in Germany. Overall the paper shows that agency employment reduces the duration until finding a regular job. This holds for natives and immigrants. However not all immigrant groups benefit from agency employment equally. While the effect is particularly pronounced for Turkish immigrants, agency employment does delay the transition into regular employment for immigrants from the Western Balkan countries."
