Abstract: "Demographic change implies an increasing demand for elderly care and a lower labor force potential at the same time. Training unemployed workers in elderly care occupations could help to fill the increasing gap between demand and supply in the care sector. In this report we analyze the effects of subsidized elderly care training on the employment opportunities of the participants." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
