Abstract:
"Firms in Germany increasingly invest in family-friendly measures to improve the reconciliation of family and career. Large firms are pioneers in this field, but family-friendly measures have also gained importance for small and medium-sized firms. This is shown by IAB analyses based on linked employer-employee data. Moreover, the findings reveal that the offer of family-friendly measures is accompanied by shorter family-related employment interruptions of the mothers." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
