Abstract:
"This report analyzes how participation in the wage subsidy program “Integration of the long-term unemployed” by unemployed welfare recipients influences their labor market opportunities for a period up to 14 months after the expiry of the subsidy. In addition to high and stable employment effects, results show a large reduction in welfare dependency rates not just during program participation, but also after the end of the subsidy period."
