Abstract:
"In an increasingly diverse society, it is crucial that everyone has the same opportunities in the labor market. However, studies show that this is not the case, due to unequal treatment during the job search process. Widespread public knowledge of the prevalence and various forms of discrimination could lead to changes in the valuation of anti-discrimination measures. Accordingly, we investigated whether sharing information about the extent of hiring discrimination in the labor market, based on data from research studies, would alter beliefs on this topic and lead to shifts in support for certain anti-discrimination measures."
