Abstract: This report provides updated estimates of family living expenses and the living wage for rural areas of Ecuador’s Coastal Region, including the main banana growing zones. The update for 2025 takes into account inflation and changes in payroll deductions since the original Anker living wage study carried out in November 2016 (Ulloa Sosa et al., 2016).
