Increasing female labour force participation in Poland

Iga Magda

No 01/2020, IBS Policy Papers from Instytut Badan Strukturalnych

Abstract: Women in Poland work less often than women in the EU, in particular women with lower education, women living in small towns and rural areas, mothers of two. This paper looks at the factors hindering women's employment and discusses areas where public policy could increase women’s labour force participation.
