Bolivia: Poverty Reduction Strategy

Government of Bolivia and Gobierno de Bolivia

No 4412, IDB Publications (Working Papers) from Inter-American Development Bank

Abstract: After 18 years of democracy and 15 years of structural reforms, Bolivia has made important strides in consolidating its institutions and its economic stability. The process of change is not over, however, there is still a need to pursue the efforts toward greater equity that will make it possible to reduce the high levels of poverty prevailing especially in rural areas.
