Abstract: Este documento brinda una perspectiva general y un análisis de los temas más importantes que enfrenta Nicaragua en su proceso de integración en la economía mundial y, al respecto, busca identificar los desafíos principales que el país enfrenta. También se hace referencia a las posibles acciones del Banco para apoyar el sector externo del país = This paper presents a general perspective and an analysis of the most important challenges Nicaragua is facing vis à vis its integration process to the world economy. The paper also makes reference to possible scenarios and the actions the Bank might take to support the country foreign sector = Este documento apresenta uma analises e perspectiva geral dos assuntos mais importantes sobre a Nicarágua, no seu processo de integraçao na economia global. O trabalho busca identificar os principais desafios que enfrenta o pais centro-americano e as possíveis açoes do Banco para apoiar o seu setor externo
