Abstract: (Available only in Spanish) Uruguayan macroeconomic performance in the last 15 years has been satisfactory, taking as a reference the unemployment that had marked this country since the mid-1950s. Economic growth has been sustained since Uruguay emerged from its foreign exchange and financial crisis. This study presents a perception of unemployment in Uruguay.
