Abstract: Draft working paper on income distribution effects of planning for basic needs health services in developing countries - covers the distribution of health expenditure and benefits by income group and educational level (incl. In relation to developed countries), analyses the attitude towards 'western- oriented' and traditional-oriented' health care (incl. Public sector hospitals and self-medication), and examines the impact of local level factors on health policy. References and statistical tables.
