Abstract:
ILO pub-wep pub. Working paper on impacts of income redistribution on employment in the rubber shoe industry (both formal and informal sector) in the urban area of kumasi, Ghana - analyses consumer expenditure, compares labour productivity, marketing costs and retail prices, and concludes that redistribution enables employment creation in the informal sector due to its heavy reliance on apprenticeship.
