Mezzera J.
ILO Working Papers from International Labour Organization
Abstract:
Discusses the informal sector as a result of a structural surplus of urban labour supply. Considers the cyclical excess supply of labour and the adjustment of the labour market in the short run, offering an explanation for the relative invariance of the open unemployment rate over the business cycle.
