No 2025/175, IMF Staff Country Reports from International Monetary Fund
Abstract:
The December 2024 general elections gave a comfortable victory and parliamentary majority to President John Mahama and his National Democratic Congress. The new authorities have expressed strong support for reforms. Faced with a significant deterioration in program performance at end-2024, they have responded decisively to secure achievement of the program targets and keep the structural reform agenda on track.
