Abstract: Depuis l'obligation légale de regrouper les mineurs en coopératives, ces dernières sont devenues des acteurs clés de la gouvernance minière artisanale en RDC, leur pouvoir s'affirmant notamment dans le contexte du boom du cobalt et des normes internationales. Cet article examine cette montée en puissance en mettant en lumière leur rôle de portiers sur les sites miniers et l’émergence d’une gouvernance verticale.
