Abstract:
The main objective of this study (developed as part of the Research and PolicyDevelopment Program ? Rede-Ipea) is to examine federal government policies(programs and actions) related to access and use of information technology andcommunication (ICT) that seek to develop an information society in which allBrazilians can participate. The study focuses on policies that seek to stimulate digitalinclusion. The study also seeks to identify possible of ways of evaluating thesepolicies, focusing particularly on aspects related to statistical measurement.
