Indicador Municipal de Saúde: uma análise dos sistemas municipais de saúde brasileiros

Abstract: This article aims to evaluate the health development of the Brazilian municipalities systems. To do that was constructed two kinds of health index for each 5.507 Brazilian municipalities. The vulnerability index is the first one. To compare the evaluation of the spatial vulnerability structure was create one index for 1991 and another for 2000. The second one synthesis the basic health policies with starts to be offer in the middle of 1990 decade. The index make possible to observe a clear distinction between the less development municipal trends, some localities are clearly searching alternative to improve them health systems, while others very little have made to change the reality with them come across. On the other hand are the more developed cities, with have contrasts too. Beside some of them adhered massive to the new programs are others that, could not be qualified to receive the new resources or for not agreeing to the new doctrines, little had adhered they.
