Abstract:
One of the many meanings of the term ?life narrative? is a social science method known as biographical research. This chapter introduces DBA students to conducting research using life narratives by situating these stories within their historical context and presenting the relevant epistemological issues and investigations. This chapter also presents the major principles that can help researchers use this method by highlighting topics that can be studied using biographical research and offering practical advice for conducting this type of study.
