The Transformation of Spainï¾’S Pork Sector: Can It Continue?

Abstract: Over the last two decades, Spain's pork sector has experienced a substantial transformation, to become one of the world's major players. The present study provides an economic analysis of the overall structural changes in Spain's pork sector following accession to the European Union. The study also discusses the potential impact of the European Union's enlargement to 25 countries on Spain's pork sector.
