Abstract:
Serbia has now been in the process of political and economic regional integration with the EU, since the end of the presidency of Milo?evi?. Today, Serbia's most important trade partner is the EU, in particular Germany and Italy. Serbia exports food and light industrial products to them, but does not have enough competitiveness in high-tech and high-value added industries. To strengthen her still weak export competitiveness, Serbia should not only participate in the production networks in the new EU member countries, but creat cross bourder production relations with former Yugoslav countries. For that purpose, Serbia needs to utilize changes the Stabilisation and Association process and the CEFTA2006 could give.
