Poverty in Medellin from human capital: layers I and II

Abstract: The objective of this article is to present an analysis of the incidence of human capital as a factor to reduce poverty in the city of Medellin. With this purpose in mind the existing literature about human capital was reviewed, the educational situation of the city was analyzed and a model of logistic discrimination based on the 1990 household survey by DANE was carried out.
