LIUC Papers in Ethics, Law and Economics from Cattaneo University (LIUC)
Abstract:
This paper represents the outcome of a seminar training experiment. During the class of private comparative law held for the graduate courses 2009/2010 some students participated to a seminar organized with the support of "Windows Live" social network granted by LIUC University. By means of this platform, the students interested in deepening the concrete application of the comparative method tools would chose a case law decision, elaborate a brief report about the facts of the decision and define the rule applied to the case. The aim of this seminal work was to demonstrate how the juridical solutions provided by the legal systems are not unchallenged and that often different rules can coexist. Introductory to this seminar work, lectures about legal pluralism and multilingualism has been provided.
