Ecotourism, Nature Conservation and Research Methodologies for Planning

Abstract: The objectives of this paper are (i) analyse the different definitions of ecotourism and identify their salient elements, (ii) describe the link between ecotourism and natural resources and (iii) identify the research gaps in ecotourism planning and evaluate various quantitative tools available for future research.
