Abstract: In this note I show that Tsallis entropy (Tsallis, 1988) is not unique in the class of non-additive, selfweighted and quasilinear means. A characterization is given which disproves a result in Dukkipati et al. (2005a,b) and Dukkipati et al. (2006).
