Abstract:
This report describes the linkage of National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) survey data to Medicaid Analytic eXtract (MAX) files. It describes the data sources, linkage algorithm, linkage results, and offers advice to researchers interested in using the linked NCHS-MAX files.
