Abstract:
Reviews the experience of the Oregon Health Plan in serving individuals with special needs, particularly integrating the aged, blind, and disabled populations and mental health and chemical dependency benefits into managed care, noting that careful planning tailored to these populations' needs will encourage coordination and appropriate care delivery.
