Abstract:
Mathematica worked with anesthesiologists to develop and test a risk-adjusted measure of intraoperative hypotension—a potentially harmful drop in blood pressure during surgery. It assesses whether clinicians have more or fewer cases of hypotension than expected, given their patient mix.
