Abstract:
This market research provides an overview of the world trade of refrigerators and freezers, with data at world-wide level and data on the evolution of appliances trade in 60 countries (selected according to their contribution to international trade of refrigerators and freezers). Data on production and consumption in quantity are included for each of the 60 countries. The growth of refrigerators and freezers imports and the role of refrigerators and freezers exporting countries in the world marketplace are considered. The trade analysis of the opening of refrigerators and freezers markets covers seven years, 2000-2006. The world production and consumption of refrigerators and freezers are broken down by country and by developed / emerging countries. The report concludes with trade data in a country format: production and consumption in quantity for the last available year, historical series on refrigerators and freezers exports and imports (2001-2006), exports and imports of refrigerators and freezers by product in quantity (2004-2006), origin of imports and destination of exports, GDP growth forecast (2007-2008) and some other economic indicators, country rankings to place all statistics in a broad worldwide context. The report provides a picture of opportunities for refrigerators and freezers exporters arising from the increasing openness of markets and a rich collection of key country-data, allowing comparisons among specific interest areas.
