Quantum Droplets: Ultradilute Matter and Universal Suppression Phenomena

Dustyn Stanley

No 3ptj2_v1, OSF Preprints from Center for Open Science

Abstract: Quantum droplets are self-bound ultradilute states of matter stabilized by a delicate balance between mean-field interactions and Lee-Huang-Yang (LHY) quantum fluctuations. These systems bridge atomic physics, quantum gravity, and cosmology through a universal energy-dependent suppression law: f(E) = 1 / [1 + (E/E0)^2] where E is the per-particle energy and E0 is a crossover scale. This document synthesizes experimental, theoretical, and numerical insights into quantum droplets, emphasizing their role in validating suppression principles across energy scales.
