The research method uses a qualitative approach by collecting data and information from journals and interviews. Peace as religious tolerance can be found in societal life, one of which is in the Toraja area. Even thogh there is peace, of course in society there are those who use the word peace with a positive and some who use it with a negative meaning. With Unnalli Melo one can think that he can sacrifice anything for the sake of peace and the good of others. Therefore, the various differences that the Toraja people have, they still live peacefullyeven though in that environment there are various different religions. The purpose of this research is to be able to understand peace from a theological perspective of the Bible and the perspective of the Toraja people.
