Abstract:
Classical orbital mechanics, as encoded in Kepler’s laws and Newton’s universal gravitation, assume a constant gravitational coupling G. However, recent developments in entropy-driven gravitational suppression suggest that this assumption may break down in high-energy, high-curvature, or coherence-stressed environments. This section extends the entropy-suppression framework to orbital mechanics by embedding the modified coupling: Geff(E) = G0/(1 + (E/E0)^2) directly into two-body dynamics. We explore the resulting deviations from Kepler’s third law, the emergence of orbital precession from entropy gradients, and the implications for observational systems such as close binaries, hot Jupiters, and chaotic triples.
