Abstract:
This document is intended to review all research of fecal sludge management (FSM) conducted in rural low-income Cambodia over the past decade. All studies cited in this document are specific to Cambodia. This document 1) provides a summary of all current knowledge about FSM and associated topics gathered by non-governmental organizations in Cambodia to date, and 2) highlights the current gaps in FSM knowledge. Extensive research of FSM in rural low-income Cambodia has been conducted over the past decade. Journals, conference proceedings and white papers were searched for this review. Studies that investigated FSM in rural low-income Cambodia over the past decade were selected for this review and are listed, linked and summarized in Table 1. FSM research not conducted in Cambodia has been excluded from this document.
