THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN GROWTH OF GOVERNMENT EXPENDITURE AND ECONOMIC GROWTH YEAR 2009 TO 2020

Abstract: The aim of this research is to investigate the effect of government expenditure on economic growth from 2009 to 2020. This research is done by analyzing government expenditure data and economic growth data starting from 2009 until 2020. The method used in this research was relational descriptive method. The procedure of this research utilizes SPSS to process the collected data. The result showed that government expenditure has positive and powerful effect on influencing the economic growth. The conclusion of the research indicates that government expenditure has a significant influence to economic growth. An increase in government expenditure also affects towards economic growth percentage
