Abstract: This chapter investigates the relationship between economic transformation and the surge of Pentecostalism in Brazil. We aim to offer a concise yet comprehensive exploration of the forces shaping the growth of Pentecostalism and its political power. In doing so, we portray the nuanced dynamics underlying the interplay between economic challenges, religious expansion, and political influence.
