Abstract:
Innovation per se does not determine the success of an innovating firm. The market does. Overexcitement about innovation cannot replace an appropriate methodology of organizing the business process, disciplines for pursuing desired outcomes, and tools/techniques for measuring the efficiency as well as the effectiveness of such important, and oftentimes tricky, pursuits.
