Abstract: Sau hơn 16 năm cầm quyền kể từ Năm 2005, Thủ tướng Đức Angela Merkel sẽ chính thức thôi đảm nhận chức vụ Thủ tướng sau đợt bầu cử liên bang vào tháng 9 này. Là vị Thủ tướng nằm quyền lâu nhất tại châu Âu, bà Angela Merkel đã có nhiều đóng góp chính sách quan trọng cho sự phát triển kinh tế-xã hội Đức và khu vực. Theo Nature, thành công của bà Merkel có dấu ấn đậm nét của việc ủng hộ khoa học trong hoạch định chính sách [1].
