Abstract:
Human Resource Management. (HR) is a field of study that is very important in a company because the challenges faced in a company are not only problems of raw materials, money, work tools and production, but also evaluation and management problems. Human resources are a factor driving production which is also the goal of the productive activity itself. Researchers will analyze how much impact leadership style and work environment have on the performance outcomes of teaching staff in schools. By using descriptive quantitative methods and probability sampling, this study took saturated samples through the process of filling out questionnaires to 55 Adventist school education staff. The purpose of this analysis and research is to test and study the existing hypotheses so that through this research, researchers can explain the relationship or influence of leadership style and work environment on the work of teaching staff in Adventist schools. Based on the research objectives above, this study proposes two hypotheses. among others: leadership style has a positive effect on teacher performance, and the work environment has a positive effect on teacher or teacher performance. This study uses Smart PLS for data testing, then calculates the direct and indirect effects and exogenous variables on endogenous variables. The results of this study indicate that leadership style and work environment have a positive but not significant effect on teacher performance, with an impact value of 54.8%, and the remaining 45.2% may be influenced by other variables.
