Abstract: Sweden actively promotes gender equality and this is reflected in its relatively high score for the GCPI. However, its reliance on collective bargaining agreements mediated by trade unions leaves non-unionized workers without as many labor protections. The growing migrant domestic worker population in Sweden is particularly vulnerable.
