Abstract:
This study aims to qualitatively clarify the processes through which authentic leadership influences organizational creativity, based on case analyses of three authentic leaders in practice. The investigation revealed a creativity emergence process whereby the leader's AL stimulates the creativity of individual members and connects them, thereby elevating it to the creativity of the entire organization. This study found that the leader's AL plays a decisive role in the creativity emergence process. Specifically, it was demonstrated that when leaders disclose their own vulnerabilities and create spaces for genuine dialogue, individual creativity is harnessed, leading to improved organizational performance. Furthermore, the importance of AL as a function that connects individual members' capabilities and bridges personal-level creativity to organizational-level creativity has become clear.
