Abstract:
The concept of Efficient Consumer Response was introduced by the Supermarket industry in 1992. Since then, other industries have started their own ECR initiatives. This paper examines the key initiatives surrounding ECR, and discusses a framework that attempts to merge the ECR initiatives with Consumer Centric marketing efforts. A case study is presented illustrating the implementation of the framework.
