Abstract:
Inclusivity, social justice, and vulnerability mitigation are some thematic concepts that we can link to social protection programmes of an economy with a significant number of people living in poverty. However, an analysis of the country’s current state of Social Safety Net Programmes (SSNPs) reveals that there is still no comprehensive and organised approach to social security.
