Abstract:
The paper explores the occupational safety and health (OSH) conditions at the Savar BSCIC Tannery Estate, with a focus on the challenges and opportunities following the relocation of tanneries from Hazaribagh. The study also underscores the importance of OSH compliance in safeguarding worker welfare and enhancing the competitiveness of Bangladesh’s leather sector in the global market.
