Evaluating the Socio-Economic Impacts on Agricultural College: The Case of Extension Programs

Dante B. Canlas

Working Papers from Philippine Institute for Development Studies

Abstract: An attempt to estimate in this study the impacts of some extension activities has lead to the identification of some specific training programs and livelihood projects that are deemed to augment agricultural productivity and rural income. Analysis however, has been limited to extension programs only. Hence, the impact of teaching and research must await future inquiry, until an appropriate data set becomes available.
