No WP 1992-03, Working Papers from Philippine Institute for Development Studies
Abstract:
The Central Visayas Regional Projects (CRVP-I), a rural development effort is now on its final stretch of implementation. Despite modifications in the level of project implementation or nature of administrative structure, emphasis on local community-based participation has prevailed. This paper presents the results of a monitoring study conducted in 1989 on CRVP-I impacts. It measures the benefits derived from the project and the practices that are expected to significantly affect the resource systems. This also serves as the initial phase for subsequent impact evaluation.
