No WP 1992-06, Working Papers from Philippine Institute for Development Studies
Abstract:
Are the economic factors that affect demand for health care services as significant as the non-economic factors? How responsive is demand for health care services to changes in the price of health care. How does this responsiveness vary across income classes? Utilizing regression analyses, these are the three main questions this paper attempts to address. Some policy implications are also provided.
