Foreign Direct Investment and BIPPA In Nepalese Economy: A Policy Issue Paper

Abstract: This is basically policy issue paper which focuses particularly in BIPPA and FDI. This policy paper has major objective to understand BIPPA and assess its binding provisions, BIPPA’s relevancy in Nepalese economy and to find potential implications of BIPPA provisions investment, industrial development, the growth of productivity and export trade promotion in short and long run. This paper has used qualitative assessment and discussion method. This paper finds BIPPA as an interesting legal arrangement having potentiality to create investment security and then business environment but it depends on stable politics.
