Paskal Zhelev

MPRA Paper from University Library of Munich, Germany

Abstract: The aim of this paper is to look at the dynamics during the last decade and the current state of Bulgaria’s foreign economic relations with China. A special focus is put on trade relations. Various trade indicators are employed including trade complementarity, intra-industry trade, revealed comparative advantage indices in order to evaluate the current status and identify potential areas for intensification of Bulgaria’s business ties with China. The findings of the paper can be used to draw policy implications for promoting future trade and investment cooperation between Bulgaria and China.
