International trade in Georgia: Review of state programs, policies, and recent trends

Abstract: This report surveys the major programs and formal policies of the state of Georgia that may affect or influence international trade, particularly exports from the state. This is of interest because it is expected that exports will have a positive effect on the job base by increasing the quantity and quality of jobs in the state, and on the general business climate by leading to a more diverse and extensive business environment. The report also presents recent trends in international trade in Georgia.
