Crowdfunding, a catalyst of entrepreneurship: Case of Morocco

Abstract: This article aims to show how crowdfunding can be a catalyst for entrepreneurship in Morocco. To this end, we propose to elucidate, first of all, the concept of crowdfunding, its mode of operation, and its different typologies. Second, we highlight the state of play of crowdfunding and its development around the world. Finally, we show how the use of crowdfunding can be a lever for the promotion of entrepreneurial initiatives in Morocco and we discuss the obstacles that hinder the use of Moroccan entrepreneurs to this technique.
